Job summary

Farm Job Search is seeking a CSA Farm Manager in West Virginia to oversee diversified organic crop production. The role requires planning, planting and caring for organic vegetables and managing a 4+ member crew with strong communication skills.

The Garden Manager will collaborate with greenhouse, crew, equipment and harvest leads to coordinate tasks for abundant, high-quality crops, with a full-time salaried schedule mainly March–November and partial winter in a 3-month vacation period.

Qualifications

• Must have experience planning, planting and caring for organic vegetables.
• Experience coordinating a 4+ member work crew and working with multiple farm roles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee vegetable crop production for diversified CSA.
• Coordinate with Greenhouse Assistant, Crew and Equipment Managers and Harvest Manager to ensure high-quality crops.

Location: West VirginiaJobNumber: 5841Garden Manager Position available on diversified CSA organic farm in Northern West Virginia. MUST be experienced planning, planting, and caring for organic vegetables as well as effectively managing 4+ member work crew. The Garden Manager will also work with Greenhouse Assistant, Crew and Equipment Managers and Harvest Manager to coordinate the necessary jobs in order to insure an abundant, high quality crop for our customers. Must have excellent communication skills and positive attitude. This is a full-time salaried position however most of the work is from March – November. The other months are part-time with a 3 month paid vacation during the winter months.
