Job summary

United Road is seeking a Compliance Supervisor who will support the Compliance Program by implementing and enforcing policies related to CSA guidelines. This role is crucial in monitoring the compliance activities across all locations and ensuring the company maintains its safety performance standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the transportation industry, strong communication skills, and a proficiency in DOT & FMCSA regulations. This position aims to create action plans with terminals to improve compliance scores and foster a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum direct experience in the transportation industry.
• Expert in DOT & FMCSA Regulations.
• Demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Conducts training and inspects processes relative to hours-of-service.
• Monitor CSA scores and work to improve them.
• Communicates compliance findings and actions to management.

Skills

Effective oral and written communication skills

Proficient use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to conduct fact finding interviews

Ethical and principled

Ability to solve problems and think quickly under pressure

Education

Four year college degree preferred
