Job summary

ASML in Austin, TX seeks a senior CS System Engineer to support Tesla’s R&D fab by introducing and integrating ASML DUV and EUV systems. You will communicate how the systems work, set up for optimal performance, and own the technology introduction program with the Tesla team.

ASML CS System Engineer is responsible for working closely with Tesla engineering to facilitate and optimize R&D start up in Austin Tx as it pertains to ASML technology introduction and integration into their Fab. This includes communicating how ASML DUV and EUV systems work and setup for optimal performance.

As a CS SE you are part of the ASML Technology Introduction Team. You will need to be customer facing, lead by example, and be the central point of contact for our team with VHV technology discipline across multiple product lines, with a focus on technology introduction and integration into Tesla fab, specifically supporting new Tesla R&D fab. This role requires a strong technical background. Strong ownership and accountability are key traits.

Job Descriptio n

In this role you are:

Owning and driving technology communications to Tesla team.

• Owning content from ASML to Tesla to ensure we are aligned on the optimal strategy to use ASML technology in a new R&D fab. We expect you to bring your own view and technically take the lead

• Understanding and addressing machine aspects in our Scanners and Sources and understand yieldstar as well.

• Able to review and challenge content decisions made by (higher) management and relevant stakeholders.

• Building and maintaining a strong network inside ASML and Tesla. Managing alignment within and across Business Lines and associated heads of products

• Contributing to the strategy and goals of the company, specifically in the context of the technology implementation at Tesla

Education

Bachelor, Master of Science in a technical science or engineering field.

Experience

• You have at least 10 years of experience in ASML technical role. System understanding of DUV and EUV systems

• You talk the language of the Technology integration with a new customer with VHV team:

• You know what it means to ensure we are clear in our requirements for integrating ASML systems into a new R&D fab

• You are able to moderate discussions with internal and external parties (including customers) on scanner

Personal Skills

• Deep understanding of on-product overlay and good wafers per day performance at customers

• Ability to operate within a complex organization

• Strong analytical skills, and ability to think quickly

• Excellent communication skills

• Affinity with working in an operational environment, focus on supporting new customer optimizing the usage of ASML systems in an R&D Fab.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
