Job summary

Cooper Spur Ski Area on Mount Hood in Oregon is seeking a part-time, seasonal Shuttle Driver/Rental Shop Technician to join a dynamic mountain team. The role blends driving guests and staff with hands-on rental gear support in a guest-centered environment.

Youll shuttle guests in winter conditions and assist with skis, boots, helmets, and related gear, delivering friendly guidance and efficient service. A great fit for those who thrive on teamwork on the slopes.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 or older.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Must have reliable transportation for winter road conditions.
• Must possess valid drivers license and clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength, including shoveling snow.
• Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for guests and team members.
• Assist guests with ski, snowboard, boots, and helmet rentals.
• Fit guests with equipment and provide friendly guidance and expert support.
• Contribute to a hospitality-driven, efficient guest experience on the mountain.

Position Overview

Become an essential part of the Cooper Spur Ski Area experience by joining our team as a Shuttle Driver/Rental Shop Technician. This dynamic, dual-role position is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, thrives in a guest-focused environment, and is energized by the unique rhythm of a winter mountain resort.

As a Shuttle Driver, you’ll provide safe, reliable transportation for team members and guests, navigating winter conditions with professionalism and care. You’ll help ensure smooth, timely access to the ski area, contributing directly to the guest and employee experience before they even step on the snow.

When not behind the wheel, you’ll transition seamlessly into the Rental Shop, fitting guests with skis, snowboards, boots, and helmets while offering friendly guidance and expert support. This hands-on role is all about hospitality and efficiency, helping guests feel confident, comfortable, and excited to hit the mountain.

• Must be 19 or older

Compensation:

• Wage: $20.48 - $21.56 per hour
