Job summary

The University of Florida seeks a Professional Development Facilitator to coordinate, develop, and deliver professional learning across the CS Everyone Center. You will design, facilitate, and evaluate learning experiences for K-12 educators and educational leaders, focusing on CS, AI literacy, instructional technology, and inclusive practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to design, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate professional learning for K-12 educators and leaders.
• Experience translating AI/CS topics into practical professional learning.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple center projects to identify needs and develop coherent experiences.
• Experience promoting participation in CS and AI professional learning initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate professional learning experiences for K-12 educators and educational leaders focused on CS, AI literacy, instructional technology, and comprehensive educational practices.
• Deliver engaging professional learning through face-to-face workshops, virtual sessions, cohort-based programs, and PLCs.
• Translate complex AI/CS topics into practical learning experiences educators can apply in schools.
• Collaborate across CS Everyone Center projects to identify common professional learning needs and develop coherent experiences across grant-funded initiatives.
• Support development and refinement of professional learning materials aligned with CS Everyone goals and accessibility principles.
• Promote and expand participation by partnering with districts and educational organizations and building educator relationships.
