Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a skilled lab technician to execute crystallization experiments, operate reactor systems, and manage precise sampling with rigorous documentation in a fast-paced lab setting.

The role emphasizes strict adherence to SOPs, accurate record-keeping, and safe handling of heated alkaline solutions, with support for setup, cleanup, and ongoing experimental runs.

Qualifications

• Execute laboratory crystallization experiments per SOPs.
• Operate reactor system and follow temperature profiles.
• Perform time-sensitive sampling, including filtration, dilution, labeling, and documentation of liquid and solid samples.
• Maintain accurate run sheets and experiment records, observations, sample tracking, and deviations.
• Prepare samples for analytical labs for IC and XRD analyses.
• Maintain safe laboratory practices when handling heated alkaline process solutions.
• Assist with general lab setup, cleanup, and preparation for subsequent experimental runs.

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory crystallization experiments in accordance with established SOPs.
• Operate and monitor the reactor system and follow defined temperature profiles and test conditions.
• Perform time-sensitive sampling, including filtration, dilution, labeling, and documentation of liquid and solid samples.
• Complete run sheets and maintain accurate experimental records, including observations, sample tracking, and deviations.
• Support the collection of samples for analytical testing, including titration, and prepare samples for submission to the analytical labs for IC and XRD.
• Maintain safe laboratory practices, particularly when handling heated alkaline process solutions.
• Assist with general lab setup, cleanup, and preparation for subsequent experimental runs.
