Job summary

The US Navy is looking for Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive (CTI) within the Information Warfare community. CTIs are linguists and intelligence professionals who collect, translate, transcribe and analyze foreign language communications to support fleet and joint commanders worldwide.

After Recruit Training, CTIs complete two Navy A School phases: Phase I language training in Monterey, California, and Phase II cryptologic linguistic training at Monterey Detachment Goodfellow, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced radio receivers, recording devices, computer terminals and communications systems.
• Translate, interpret and transcribe foreign language communications data.
• Analyze and report highly technical intelligence for fleet commanders and national intelligence agencies.
• Work with classified material and advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning systems.
