Job summary

The US Navy is seeking Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive (CTI) to translate, transcribe, and analyze foreign language communications for fleet and national intelligence. You will work with advanced AI/ML systems and classified material in shore-based Centers of Excellence and may deploy aboard ships or submarines.

CTIs undergo two stages of language and cryptologic training, starting with Phase I language training in Monterey and Phase II at Goodfellow.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced radio receivers, recording devices, computer terminals and communications systems.
• Translate, interpret and transcribe foreign language communications data.
• Analyze and report highly technical intelligence for fleet commanders and national intelligence agencies.
• Work with classified material and advanced AI/ML systems.
• Perform temporary duty aboard Navy surface ships and submarines, based on assignment requirements.
