Job summary

The US Navy seeks Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive (CTI), highly skilled linguists and intelligence professionals responsible for translating, transcribing and analyzing foreign language communications to support national security and operations worldwide. CTIs operate with advanced systems, may deploy aboard ships or submarines, and complete two training phases in Monterey, CA and Goodfellow, TX.

Proficiency in languages such as Arabic, Mandarin, Korean, Persian-Farsi, Russian and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced radio receivers, recording devices, computer terminals and communications systems.
• Translate, interpret and transcribe foreign language communications data.
• Analyze and report highly technical intelligence for fleet commanders and national intelligence agencies.
• Work with classified material and advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning systems.
• Perform temporary duty aboard Navy surface ships and submarines, based on assignment requirements.
