Job summary

US Navy seeks Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive (CTIs) to serve as linguists and intelligence professionals, collecting, translating, transcribing, and analyzing foreign language communications for national security and fleet operations.

CTIs work with classified material and advanced AI/ML systems, with duties that may include temporary shipboard deployments and shore-based Centers of Excellence, supporting commanders worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced radio receivers, recording devices, computer terminals and communications systems.
• Translate, interpret and transcribe foreign language communications data.
• Analyze and report highly technical intelligence for fleet commanders and national intelligence agencies.
• Work with classified material and advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning systems.
• Perform temporary duty aboard Navy surface ships and submarines, based on assignment requirements.
