Job summary

US Navy is seeking Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive (CTI) to translate, transcribe and analyze foreign language communications for fleet and national intelligence. You will work with advanced AI/ML tools, handle classified material, and support shore-based Centers of Excellence with occasional duty aboard surface ships and submarines.

After Recruit Training, CTIs undergo two phases of specialized language and cryptologic training, with opportunities for career advancement and language

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced radio receivers, recording devices, computer terminals and communications systems.
• Translate, interpret and transcribe foreign language communications data.
• Analyze and report highly technical intelligence for fleet commanders and national intelligence agencies.
• Work with classified material and advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning systems.
• Perform temporary duty aboard Navy surface ships and submarines, based on assignment requirements.
