Job summary

Alpaca is a US-headquartered, global provider of broker-dealer infrastructure. This role owns daily monitoring and surveillance of customer activity, and supports onboarding, KYC, AML investigations, and currency and settlement tasks within a distributed team.

Responsibilities include monitoring activity, handling daily trading and onboarding tasks, executing cryptocurrency trading, reviewing ledgers, and supporting AML programs across a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in broker-dealer, financial services, trading or crypto operations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency or strong willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing regulatory environment.
• Team player with ability to work independently and communicate clearly.

What you'll do

• Monitor and surveillance of all customer activity on a daily basis
• Handle daily trading, new accounts and cash management tasks
• Execute cryptocurrency trading and manage related exceptions
• Assist with customer onboarding, including KYC and account approvals
• Review general ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies
• Support the Anti-Money Laundering program and investigations
