Job summary
Elliptic is seeking a Cryptocurrency Intelligence Analyst to expand and enrich our intelligence products, helping customers gain visibility into the global crypto ecosystem and make safer decisions. You will work with a passionate, global Intelligence team trusted by law enforcement, financial institutions, and crypto platforms.
Your work powers risk detection, entity screening, and verification workflows at scale by profiling VASPs, custodians, and exchanges and applying AML concepts with
Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in cryptoassets, financial crime, compliance, or international finance—education or experience.
- Basic understanding of AML concepts like ownership, sanctions, or due diligence.
- Comfort navigating structured and unstructured data to assess activity and risk.
- Able to work in a global team spanning Singapore, London, and Washington DC.
- Eligible to work in the US.
Responsibilities
- Research and document cryptoasset service providers (VASPs, custodians, OTC desks, exchanges) to improve Elliptic products.
- Analyse blockchain and off-chain data to identify risk indicators and regulatory implications.
- Apply AML concepts to profile entities with licensing and jurisdiction insights.
- Collaborate with the Intelligence Team to link entities to blockchain representations.
