Job summary

Robinhood is seeking an experienced Crypto Compliance role to lead AML and sanctions efforts across U.S. and international operations. You will work closely with AML Officers to ensure program alignment, oversee licensing obligations, and translate regulatory changes into actionable processes.

The role requires deep crypto compliance expertise, cross-border collaboration, and strongSQL skills to support management reporting and risk assessment. Office attendance is expected in multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of AML and sanctions experience, with at least 2+ years in Crypto compliance.
• Deep understanding of NYDFS Part 504 regulations and their application to crypto programs.
• Familiarity with EU and UK AML regulations and international compliance frameworks (MiCA, UK ML Regulations).
• Proficient SQL to extract compliance data, build queries, and develop reports for management decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop oversight of shared services related to financial crimes compliance.
• Collaborate with global AML Officers to align programs across entities.
• Advise Business, Legal, and Compliance on AML, Sanctions, and Fraud in product ideation and development.
• Support licensing processes and ongoing compliance for licenses.
• Serve as SME on AML and Sanctions regulatory requirements; translate updates into actions.
• Draft and maintain compliant policies, procedures, and risk methodologies for Crypto AML and Sanctions.
• Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables for Financial Crimes initiatives.
• Respond to inquiries from external partners, banks, and auditors.
• Support regulatory filings, exams, and inquiries.
• Support risk assessments and audit efforts.
• Support board and committee reporting.
