Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a seasoned Crypto Compliance leader to oversee AML and sanctions programs across global operations. The role requires coordinating with international teams to align on program execution and regulatory requirements for crypto products.

The successful candidate will drive policy, licensing support, and risk assessments while collaborating with Business, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure robust crypto compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of AML and sanctions experience, including crypto-specific compliance.
• Experience building and maintaining crypto compliance programs.
• Knowledge of NYDFS Part 504 regulations.
• Familiarity with EU/UK AML regulations (MiCA, UK Money Laundering Regulations).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• SQL proficiency to extract data and develop reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop oversight of shared services for financial crimes compliance.
• Coordinate with global AML Officers for program alignment.
• Advise teams on AML, Sanctions, and Fraud in crypto product lifecycles.
• Support licensing processes for state and international licenses.
• Act as SME on regulatory requirements and translate updates into programs.
• Draft and maintain compliance documentation.
• Manage timelines and resources for financial crimes initiatives.
• Respond to inquiries from partners, banks, auditors.
• Support regulatory filings, exams, and inquiries.
• Assist risk assessments and audit efforts.
• Support board and committee reporting.
