SwissBorg is a crypto wealth management platform building a globally regulated, multi-entity group with a strong remote culture. We seek an experienced Accountant to own Accounts Payable, close the books, manage intercompany activity and support VAT and audit processes across jurisdictions.

You will join a versatile, remote, international team and help strengthen controls while contributing ideas to improve accounting workflows. A Big 4 background and crypto interest are highly valued.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Around 5 years of accounting experience in a Big 4 or accounting outsourcing environment.
• Strong background in general ledger accounting, closing, reconciliations and the full accounting cycle.
• Experience with multi-entity groups and intercompany accounting; consolidation is a plus.
• Hands-on Accounts Payable experience and ability to coach junior teammates.
• Knowledge of VAT and corporate tax compliance; international exposure is a plus.
• Experience preparing for and working with external auditors.
• Familiarity with accounting software and strong Excel skills; Xero and ApprovalMax a plus.
• Interest in crypto and/or crypto accounting is a plus.
• Fluent English; French is a bonus.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and independent in a remote, international team.

Responsabilités

• Own the Accounts Payable process: supplier invoice review and coding, payment preparation, vendor master data.
• Prepare and manage general ledger entries, accruals and prepayments.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closes for all group entities with external firms.
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations and detailed account analysis.
• Manage monthly intercompany reconciliations, recharges and settlements.
• Support VAT and other tax compliance across jurisdictions with external advisors.
• Prepare audit files and support external audits.
• Strengthen internal controls and propose process improvements.
• Handle both technical and routine accounting tasks with accuracy and consistency.
