Job summary

United Launch Alliance is seeking a Cryogenic Systems Software Engineer 3 to develop and maintain software for cryogenic fueling of spacecraft. You will work with a collaborative Agile team, delivering solutions that meet hard real-time requirements for propulsion and ground support systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 4+ years of related work experience
• Experience working on an agile development team
• Experience independently designing, developing, and delivering solutions to difficult software/hardware problems
• Experience presenting hardware/software system architecture and designs to internal and external audiences
• Experience with object-oriented designs and languages and with C/C++
• Experience with Software Configuration Management practices including Git
• Experience with Agile Methodologies and Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Familiarity with software design principles and real-time Linux-based systems

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop software for cryogenic fueling of spacecraft
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Design, develop, test, and deliver software solutions meeting real-time requirements
• Assist in mentoring less experienced engineers and potentially assume ASE responsibilities
