Job summary

United Launch Alliance seeks a Cryogenic Systems Software Engineer 3 to maintain and develop software for cryogenic fueling of spacecraft. You will work on a highly collaborative Agile team, delivering real-time software solutions while engaging with Product Owners, Architects, QA and Operations.

You will lead technical efforts, mentor junior engineers, and ensure software meets mission-critical requirements for launch vehicle manufacturing, preflight, and countdown activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited college/university with 4+ years of related work experience.
• Experience on an agile development team.
• Ability to design, develop and deliver software solutions for complex problems.
• Experience presenting software/hardware system designs to internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with C/C++, software configuration management (Git) and modern SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop software for cryogenic spacecraft fueling systems in an Agile environment.
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams; provide technical leadership.
• Design, develop, test, and deliver mission-critical software used in launch operations.
• Apply standards and processes across the software development lifecycle and interface with customers and suppliers.
