Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Solid foundations in stress analysis, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.
• Ability to read and critique engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.

Responsibilities

• Design cryogenic components and systems for EIC project, including cryostats, cold boxes, vacuum systems, and piping.
• Perform engineering analysis (stress, thermal, fluid) and ensure ASME code compliance.
• Prepare specifications and procurement docs; assist with vendor reviews and fabrication.
• Collaborate with Cryo department designers and process engineers to integrate mechanical designs with requirements.
• Provide engineering support to operational cryogenic plants, including repairs and improvements.
