Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics, aerospace engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, along with strong mechanical design, manufacturing, GD&T, thermodynamics, and heat-transfer fundamentals.
• Preferred experience includes end-to-end hardware development, thermal and mechanical multiphysics simulation, and hands-on design or operation of cryogenic, vacuum, and industrial cooling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and operate the company’s cryogenic system, including thermal budgeting and the design or selection of cryostats, vacuum chambers, insulation, structural supports, and cryocooler interfaces.
• Integrate and operate auxiliary cryogenic and vacuum equipment, and oversee field deployment, testing, and operation of cryogenic assets.
