Job summary

Bruker OST in Carteret, NJ, is seeking a QC Lab Technician to support QA engineers and manufacturing. You will conduct precise analytical testing on incoming materials, in-process samples, and final product using traditional lab methods and specialized instrumentation, including cryogenic and microscopy processes.

Under the direction of the Quality and Safety Manager, you will maintain calibration records, enter data, help update procedures, and ensure compliance with EH&S policies while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of related experience.
• Willingness to work with cryogenic liquids.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-focused attitude.
• Experience with quality assurance procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct precise routine analytical testing on incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and final product using standard procedures and a range of instruments (cryogenic, metallographic, microscopy).
• Compare test results to established standards and enter data into computer systems; communicate data to Production, QA, and R&D as needed.
• Maintain high laboratory standards: equipment, calibration validity, and 7S housekeeping; ensure records are complete and accurate.
• Assist in updates to procedures or practices within manufacturing and QC test processes.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety policies applicable to laboratory function.
