Nikkiso Cryogenic Services in Irvine, CA is seeking a Pump Technician to perform high-quality repair of cryogenic pumps, including disassembly, analysis, troubleshooting, and rebuilding to meet customer needs and timelines. You will read drawings, use shop equipment, and ensure repairs align with specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This role requires 2–5 years in a shop environment and cryogenic experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in shop environment.
• Installation, maintenance, repair of mechanical and electrical systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and work from drawings.
• Disassemble, analyze, and rebuild cryogenic pumps, accessories, and motors to optimize performance.
• Operate shop equipment such as drill press, hydraulic press, bench grinder, pipe threading machine, pipe bender, cutting torch, band saw.
• Analyze condition of parts and communicate with customers to improve reliability.
• Perform assembly and ensure fit and alignment within tolerances.
• Check work for conformance to specifications and customer requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in 5S compliant manner.
• Follow all safety procedures and provide technical guidance to customers.
