Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Pump Technician to perform high-quality repair of cryogenic pumps. You will disassemble, analyze, troubleshoot, and rebuild pumps, ensuring on-time, within-budget repairs and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The senior technician will oversee safety and compliance measures, lead 5S initiatives, and provide technical guidance to customers while maintaining equipment and tools per 5S principles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 7-8 years of mechanical experience preferred; cryogenic pump experience ideal.
• Experience in the industrial manufacturing industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and work from drawings.
• Disassemble, analyze, and rebuild cryogenic pumps, accessories, and motors.
• Operate shop equipment including drill presses, grinders, and cutting tools.
• Analyze parts to determine causes of damage and communicate findings to customers.
• Assemble pump components with proper fit and alignment.
• Document clearances and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
• Provide technical guidance to customers and coordinate service-related issues.
