Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Pump Technician to repair cryogenic pumps with emphasis on disassembly, analysis, troubleshooting, and rebuilds to meet customer specifications and schedules.

Role requires reading drawings, using precision tools, and ensuring safety and quality. A High School Diploma and 2–5 years shop experience are typical; cryogenic experience and machining skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in a shop environment.
• Installation, maintenance, repair of mechanical and electrical systems preferred.
• Machining experience preferred.
• Cryogenic experience preferred.
• Driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and work from drawings.
• Disassemble, analyze, and rebuild cryogenic pumps and accessories.
• Operate drill press, hydraulic press, bench grinder, pipe threading and other shop equipment.
• Analyze condition of parts to communicate with customers and improve reliability.
• Check conformance to specifications and procedures; document clearances.
• Provide technical guidance to customers; meet production schedules.
