Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases in North Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Pump Technician to assemble and test cryogenic pumps within the Operations team. You will monitor production for hazards and ensure strict safety and quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities include hydro-testing to prints, assembling components per drawings, wiring assemblies, and preparing shipments. Prior experience in manufacturing and strong attention to detail are essential for reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and follow instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety, quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Hydro-statically test parts in accordance with prints and ITP/PTP.
• Assemble parts and components per prints/drawings.
• Assemble in-tank/ex-tank electrical assemblies per drawings.
• Disassemble pumps/components per schedule.
• Assemble and install instrumentation per Engineer's design.
• Prepare pumps and components for shipment.
• Maintain a clean work area and strict supply discipline.
• Notify supervisor of shop supply requirements.
• Maintain safety equipment and perform monthly strap/sling inspections.
• Report safety concerns immediately.
• Assist in identifying issues and proposing improvements.
