Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Fluids Analyst to support the Cryogenic Propellant Distribution and Mass Gauging on the MK2 Crew Lander for NASA’s Artemis & HLS programs. You will follow the development lifecycle from preliminary design through build, test, integration and on-console operation.

You will generate thermo-fluids models of cryogenic propellant and collaborate with NASA and national partners to advance in-space cryogenic fluid management in propulsion systems.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of thermal/fluids analysis experience.
• Proficiency using CFD tools such as Thermal Desktop or Sinda/Fluint.
• Understanding of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Thermodynamics.
• Hands-on experience with first-order and Excel-level fluids calculations.

Responsibilities

• Generate and run thermo-fluids models of cryogenic propellant.
• Work with a cross functional team to advance the state of the art of in space cryogenic fluid management in propulsion systems.
