Job summary

Cryogenic Processors in Paducah, KY is seeking a Production Specialist to support daily manufacturing operations in a cryogenics and freeze-drying environment. The role involves safely producing, handling, packaging and processing products with a strong emphasis on quality, food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Handle Food and non-food products in a manufacturing environment
• Prepare, process, package, label and palletize products
• Load and unload production equipment
• Assist with operation of production and packaging equipment as trained
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, utensils, tools, and work areas according to company procedures
• Maintain clean and organized workstations throughout shift
• Follow written work instructions, production records, and sanitations procedures
• Report equipment issues, product concerns, or food safety concerns to supervisors
• Perform other production related duties as assigned
• Follow all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) including but not limited to:
• No Jewelry in production areas
• No false eyelashes
• No cell phones in production areas
• No food, beverages, gum, or tobacco products in production areas
• Maintain proper personal hygiene and handwashing practices
• Follow all sanitation, allergen control, and contamination prevention procedures
• The company supplies required training in the following areas:
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Allergen Awareness and Control
• Organic Production Requirements

Production Specialist - Cryogenics and Freeze-drying

We are currently seeking employees for our production team. These roles are responsible for supporting the daily operations of the manufacturing facility by safely producing, handling, packaging and processing food and non-food products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety. These positions require attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently as part of a team and compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.

These positions carry a salary starting at $18 per hour based on experience and expertise. They further include a competitive benefits and Personal Time Off package.

These positions are located at our manufacturing facility in Paducah, Kentucky.

Our facility is tobacco, drug and vape free.

All Cryogenic Processors, LLC positions must successfully pass a State Background check.

Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• M -F: 8am - 5pm - Schedule may vary due to production demands
• Occasional overtime may be required based on production demands

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to work in varying temperature environments, including refrigerated and freezer areas when required
