Job summary

Airgas, a leading U.S. supplier of industrial, medical and specialty gases, is hiring a Field Service Technician in Kenosha, WI.

The role involves installing and servicing on-site nitrogen generation plants and cryogenic gas systems, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will collaborate on installations, perform site surveys, and support routine maintenance and equipment upgrades across customer sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, a Certified Brazing Certificate within 30 days of employment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• At least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates on the installation and care of nitrogen on-site generation equipment.
• Supports cryogenic bulk installations at Airgas facilities and customer sites.
• Restores and optimizes pressure reduction equipment for bulk delivery systems.
• Evaluates and performs improvements to electrical systems for N2 generation and cryogenic installations.
• Performs site surveys to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Maintains an appropriate stock of parts for typical installations within the customer base.
