Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Fluid Systems Design Engineer to support the cryogenic management and supply subsystem design for the MK2 Crew Lander. This on-site role involves collaboration with NASA and partners to advance the HLS program and Moon missions.

Applicants should have a BS in a related field and 4+ years in propulsion development, with CAD experience (CREO/Siemens NX) and strong communication skills. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in developing and testing space-vehicle propulsion systems.
  • Experience designing propulsion hardware using CAD software such as CREO or Siemens NX.
  • Experience or familiarity with first order fluids or structural analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with partners.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills interfacing with external parties including government and commercial entities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and development of the cryogenic management and supply subsystem on the MK2 Crew Lander.
  • Manage the complete life cycle of the integrated propulsion system including development testing.
