Job summary

Aditi Consulting is seeking a Scientist to develop robust, user-centered automation workflows for cryogenic electron microscopy (cryoEM) data processing and decision support. The role combines structural biology insight with deep computational skills to reduce manual documentation, improve traceability, and create reusable analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Deep training in cryoEM data processing.
• Experience with Linux CLI and scripting.
• Experience with EPU and CryoSPARC software packages.
• Strong documentation and reproducible development practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Publications or presentations in the field.

Responsibilities

• Meet with structural biologists to translate needs into software requirements.
• Develop, test, document, and maintain software tools.
• Apply reproducible development practices (GitLab, testing, documentation).
• Validate tools on representative datasets and refine workflows.
• Document data provenance, input requirements, limitations and outputs.
• Present progress and technical recommendations to stakeholders.
