Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is hiring for a Specialist, Value Stream Cryo Operations in Summit, NJ. The role focuses on Cryopreservation, storage, and handling of patient materials for CAR T manufacturing. Shift: Sunday-Wednesday, onsite day shift 5 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

The team emphasizes cGMP compliance, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities include maintaining sample custody, performing storage queries, and supporting investigations and deviations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 0–2 years of manufacturing or operations experience.
• Associate/ Medical Technical degree with 0–2 years of experience.
• High School diploma/GED with 2–4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient material throughout Cryopreservation, storage, distribution, transfer and disposal.
• Maintain sample tracking and chain of custody per GMP procedures.
• Destroy expired samples and materials per procedures.
• Perform sample queries and periodic storage reports.
• Assist investigations and deviations related to sample management.
• Collaborate with departments to improve processes and efficiencies.
• Maintain metrics for the Cryo Operations group.
• Facilitate cold-chain transfers of material as required.
• Support batch record executions and CAPA closures.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
