Job summary

McEwen Mining Inc. at the Gold Bar operation seeks a Crusher Operator to sustain safe, efficient ore processing in a remote mining environment. You will operate and monitor crushing equipment to maintain consistent plant performance and meet production goals.

You will perform daily inspections, identify hazards, keep records, and support housekeeping and maintenance. A minimum of one year in a crushing or mineral processing role is preferred, along with a valid driver’s license and a strong

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a crushing operation or similar mineral processing environment.
• Gold ore processing or other mineral processing experience is an asset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong awareness of workplace hazards and safety procedures.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and basic math skills.
• Commitment to safe work practices and teamwork in a production environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor crushing equipment to ensure safe and efficient ore processing.
• Assist with grinding and crushing activities.
• Operate heavy equipment including loaders, skid steers, graders, and water trucks.
• Conduct daily equipment walkaround inspections and report safety hazards or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
• Remove excess material and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Coordinate with plant operators, supervisors, and maintenance teams; report updates via radio.
