Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, seeks a Crusher Foreperson to oversee daily crushing and aggregate production operations. You will lead crews, coordinate production, maintain equipment performance, ensure product quality, and promote a culture of safety and operational excellence.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, extensive knowledge of crushing and screening, and the ability to work with maintenance, trucking, and plant management to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of quarrying, crushing, or aggregate production experience.
• Minimum 1+ year of lead supervisory or crew leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of crushing and screening operations and equipment maintenance.
• Solid safety record with MSHA safety regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily crushing and wash plant operations.
• Lead and mentor crusher operators and support personnel.
• Monitor production rates and adjust operations to meet targets.
• Ensure aggregate products meet quality specifications.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with maintenance teams.
• Inspect crushers, screens, conveyors, feeders, and related equipment.
• Promote safe work practices through training and coaching.
• Maintain records for production, labor hours, and parts usage.
• Assist in planning crusher moves and plant setup.
• Coordinate with quarry operations to ensure material availability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
