Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH company, seeks a safety-focused Crusher Equipment Operator to support aggregate production. You will operate, monitor, and maintain portable and stationary crushing systems, ensuring quality and efficiency while upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, and MSHA training or the ability to obtain it, with prior experience in aggregate production or heavy equipment preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience operating crushing, screening, aggregate processing, mining, or heavy construction equipment preferred.
  • MSHA training or ability to obtain required certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Operate crushing, screening, conveying, and related aggregate processing equipment.
  • Start up, monitor, adjust, and shut down equipment according to procedures.
  • Conduct routine inspections of crushers, screens, conveyors, feeders and related equipment.
  • Monitor material flow and production rates to meet quality specs; identify issues and perform minor repairs.
  • Coordinate with loaders and plant personnel to maintain efficiency.
  • Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication and wear-part inspections.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area per safety policies.
  • Complete production, maintenance, and inspection reports; follow safety and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training; assist with plant setup and teardown.
