Job summary

Evans Construction is hiring a Crusher Laborer to support aggregate production at our Jackson, WY site. You will assist in safe operation of crushing equipment, perform general labor, maintenance, clean-up, and material handling per company safety policies.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, prior experience in construction or industrial environments, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather while lifting and performing physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in aggregate, construction, or industrial environments is a plus.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods).
  • Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Performs machinery maintenance and repairs.
  • Unplugs and shovels off conveyors and screens.
  • Changes out screens, rollers, cone liners, etc.
  • Repairs conveyor problems. Greases moving machine parts.
  • Performs crusher machinery set up and take down which includes running cables and hoses, setting up blocks, assembling/disassembling machinery, operating skidsteer to move parts, tarping, shoveling aggregate, etc.
  • Keeps crusher machinery area clean of debris and shovels aggregate.
  • Operates equipment to include skidsteer (and loader if trained).
  • Moves excess materials from around the crusher machinery.

Crusher Laborer - Evans Jackson, WY (Construction)

Position Overview

The Crusher Laborer supports aggregate production operations by assisting in the safe and efficient operation of crushing equipment. This position is responsible for general labor duties at the crusher plant, including maintenance, clean-up, and material handling, while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
  • Performs machinery maintenance and repairs.
