Job summary

Knife River is seeking a Crusher Foreman in Billings, MT to lead daily crusher activities, oversee crew performance and ensure safe, efficient operation.

The role requires coordinating production schedules, maintaining equipment, and following MSHA regulations while maintaining quality standards and a proactive safety mindset on site.

Qualifications

• Experience operating crushers with screen and conveyor systems.
• Ability to plan, organize and supervise daily activities.
• Ability to read and comprehend specifications and manuals.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills.
• Willingness to work rotating days/nights/weekends/overtime.
• Professional safety attitude toward team and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for daily crusher crew activities.

• Keep inventory, prepare production schedules and logs per MSHA rules.
• Contribute to quality control to meet specifications.
• Uphold safety policies and procedures at all times.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Crusher Foreman Position!

Responsibilities

• Provide the necessary leadership and direction for daily activities of the crusher crew.
• Operate and maintain the crusher in safe, efficient manner.
• Keep inventory, prepare production schedules/reports and maintain operators log as necessary and comply with MSHA regulations.
• Participate in quality control program to meet specifications.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have detailed knowledge of crusher operation with screen and conveyor systems.
• Requires high degree of skills in planning, organization, supervising, communication and observation.
• Ability to read and comprehend specifications, operator's manuals and instructions.
• Strong welding, fabrication and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts which include: days, nights, weekends and overtime.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers.
