Job summary

Knife River is seeking a Crusher Operator Laborer to join our Idaho Falls team. You will safely operate equipment around crushing plants to feed, stockpile and clean up materials, and you may assist on plants as needed.

The role requires ability to sit or stand for long periods, dependable work habits, and willingness to travel. You will work with a diverse crew and contribute to safe, efficient site operations.

We are looking for a Crusher Operator Laborer to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Safely operate various pieces of equipment for and around crushing plants to feed, stockpile and cleanup materials.
• Help on crushing plants when needed.
• Shoveling, greasing and maintenance on and around plants.
• Need to be flexible with other tasks assigned by supervisors.
• MANUAL LABORER SHOULD BE EXPECTED
• Must be able to travel.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience operating a Loader.
• Pipe laying experience.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
• Ability to handle and manipulate objects on a repetitive basis.
• Good vision and auditory discrimination for alarms, voices, and normal sounds at construction sites.
• Dependable and able to work safely.
• Ability to adapt to environmental conditions.Ability to work independently and be self‑motivated.
• Team player, able to work with a diverse group of people toward a common goal.

Shift Requirements

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime, possible nights and some Saturdays.
