Perdue Farms seeks a Crush Operations Intern in Bainbridge, PA to gain hands-on experience in plant operations and the broader supply chain. You will work closely with experienced professionals on day-to-day plant activities and project work.

The internship offers opportunities to learn OSHA safety processes, environmental requirements, and real-world production practices while collaborating with senior leadership and mentors.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited four-year institution pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Production Management, Business or Business Administration, Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, Occupational Safety and Environmental Health.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well within a team setting, as well as independently.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate in a team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of agricultural business processes.
• Develop an understanding of the OSHA safety processes and requirements of an agricultural business.
• Develop an understanding of the Local, State, and Federal environmental processes and requirements of an agricultural business.
• To perform assigned research and project work related to an agricultural business.
• To perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor and the assigned mentors.
