American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, is hiring Waiters for the 2026 season. You will work aboard our shipboard hotel and restaurant, delivering outstanding hospitality and representing the brand.

This temporary position runs up to 28 weeks, with wages ranging from $1,000 to $1,400 per week and bonuses. Major living expenses are covered; travel, room and board, uniforms, and training are provided.

Qualifications

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
• You must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• Federal law requires pre-employment drug testing for shipboard employees, including Marijuana.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited while on duty.
• Grooming standards limit visible tattoos and piercings; this is a 28-week, shipboard temporary position.
• You are encouraged to use this experience as a stepping stone to management positions within American Cruise Lines, though promotions are not guaranteed.
• Successful candidates work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude, reflecting the company’s values.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience.
• Set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour, including tables, linen, silverware, china and glassware.
• Cater to culinary requests, relay orders to the galley, and serve courses and beverages with care.
• Greet guests by name, escort to tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer menu questions.
• Perform additional duties as needed, such as greeting guests on embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and supporting evening entertainment.
