Job summary

American Cruise Lines invites applications for Waiters aboard our shipboard hotel and restaurant for the 2026 season. This temporary position runs up to 28 weeks and offers the opportunity to work onboard while providing hospitality excellence.

Wages range from $1,000 to $1,400 per week with bonuses; major living expenses are covered, including travel, room and board, uniforms, and training. Join a team that represents our brand across diverse itineraries.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test is required for shipboard employees.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited while on duty.
• Grooming standards apply with limited tattoos and piercings.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience.
• Set up and break down service areas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour.
• Acknowledge guests by name, escort to tables, present menus, and suggest courses and wines.
• Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care.
• May assist with greetings, afternoon teas, snacks, and evening entertainment.
