Job summary

Polynesian Adventure is seeking a Cruise Ship Coordinator in Honolulu to manage cruise tour programs, coordinate with cruise lines, and support operations. This full-time role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and willingness to travel to outer islands.

You will enter tour details in dispatch software, prepare quotes, and maintain client relationships with a focus on safety and service. An Associate degree or higher and 2+ years in Hawaii hospitality are preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in hospitality or travel preferred.
• Ability to present information clearly to groups.
• Duties may require travel to outer islands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all aspects of cruise tour programs with cruise line, vessel and operations team.
• Maintains open communication with cruise ship shore excursion staff.
• Monitors, inputs and follows up on cruise tour orders.
• Coordinates with local venues in conjunction with tour itineraries.
• Assists in creating new and innovative tour itineraries for cruise ship passengers.
• Quality checks advance bookings; updates/completes any missing information.
• Reconciles shore excursion settlement forms.
• Approves and sends invoices for Cruise Ship clients.
• Enters tour details and itineraries into dispatch software.
• Establishes and maintains client relationships with a service mindset.
• Uses independent judgment to operate tours effectively and resolve client complaints.
• Conducts follow up reviews related to client satisfaction.
• Liaises with Operations to ensure client needs are fulfilled.
• Responsible for cruise related group quotes, including quoting and operating.
• Provides onsite operations support, including travel to outer islands.
• Completes ad hoc projects as needed.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
