American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, is hiring Dishwashers for the 2026 season. You will work in our shipboard galley to ensure the sanitation of all dinnerware and utensils to support an outstanding dining experience. This is a temporary position onboard for 28 weeks.

The role offers wages from $1,000 to $1,400 per week plus bonuses, with travel, room and board, uniforms, and training provided. Applicants must be 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old and a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test required for all shipboard employees.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited on board.
• Grooming standards limit visible tattoos and piercings.
• Temporary employment up to 28 weeks aboard the ship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of galley, cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas.
• Receive and carry food deliveries weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure the commercial dishwasher operates properly and report maintenance issues.
• Create rapport with guests and cater to galley requests efficiently.
• May perform other duties, such as greeting guests during embarkation and assisting at events.
