Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a Measurement Analyst to support day-to-day measurement for crude and CO2 assets at the Houston office. The role focuses on validation, gain/loss analysis, system improvements, and regulatory reporting to support monthly close deadlines.

You will work with Operations, IT, and other business units to ensure data accuracy, perform audits, and drive process enhancements across Field Insight, Pgas, and FlowCal. Strong communication and multitasking are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of crude and product measurement fundamentals.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
• SQL/Power BI knowledge preferred.
• Experience with Kinder Morgan systems (Field Insight, Pgas, FlowCal) or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple pipeline assets and adhere to close deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete liquid analysis entries in the measurement system on time, meeting close deadlines for multiple crude and CO2 assets.
• Analyze and investigate gains or losses on physical pipeline balances; resolve discrepancies with Operations and Measurement.
• Set up and administer balancing and reporting tools with Field Operations personnel for physical pipeline balancing.
• Collaborate with Measurement, Field Operations, Engineering, IT, and downstream units to resolve measurement issues.
• Coordinate gain/loss meetings and provide required supporting information.
• Track and analyze line fill information on designated pipelines where applicable.
