Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in good standing.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required.
• BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 1 year, NRP within 1 year, PALS within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory therapy procedures per physician orders.
• Ventilator management, settings checks and alarms per protocol.
• ABG testing and associated quality control.
• Document all patient care activities and outcomes.
• Educates patients and families about therapies.
