Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate of Completion in Respiratory Therapy from a CoARC/CoARTE approved program.
• Licenses: Licensed RCP (IDFPR) and CRT (NBRC).
• BLS within 30 days; ACLS within 1 year; NRP within 1 year; PALS within 1 year.
• RRT credential within 1 year and ability to perform CLIA-related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care and related duties per policies and procedures.
• Interpret and execute physician orders for patient care.
• Ventilator management and maintenance; adjust settings as needed.
• Document therapy, ventilator data, and patient responses accurately.
• Educate patients and families about therapies and home care when appropriate.
• Respond promptly to alarms, pages, and emergencies; participate in rounds.
• Maintain infection control standards and accurate record-keeping.
