Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment’s Shoreline Amphitheatre seeks a Safety Ambassador to help manage crowds and patrol the venue to prevent rule violations. This role focuses on keeping patrons and staff safe, coordinating with security and medical teams, and ensuring rules are followed.

The position requires a high school diploma, clear English communication, legal awareness, crisis handling ability, and the stamina to handle physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Understanding of the rule of law and relevant penal codes.
• Ability to represent the Safety Ambassador Department in an exemplary manner.
• Ability to perform in crises and work under pressure without loss of composure.
• Ability to memorize, recollect, and retrieve information quickly.
• Ability to interact calmly with angry patrons and employees during tense situations.
• Ability to walk, stand, lift at least 45 lbs., reach, pull, push, grasp and drag.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety of patrons and employees.
• Conduct patrols of the building on a regular basis; respond to safety calls promptly.
• Manage crowd flows through various venue areas.
• Guide patrons to exits during emergencies.
• Identify problem attendees and appropriate responses.
• Work with Security, medical personnel, and first responders.
• Adhere to the department’s performance, conduct and attendance standards.
• Complete tasks within deadlines set by Supervisors/Manager.
• Interact with patrons, vendors and employees courteously and professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
