About The Opportunity

Chelsea Piers seeks a Crossing Guard to join our Guest Services team. In this role, you will monitor pedestrian traffic and ensure safe crossing at crosswalks entering the complex. This role reports to the Guest Services Director and works closely with the Guest Services Team.

As The Crossing Guard, You Will Be Expected To

• Provide clear and courteous instructions to guests, drivers, and bikers
• Collaborate with security personnel and staff to maintain a safe environment and announce all trucks and buses entering the complex
• Respond promptly to any safety concerns or incidents
• Assist in educating guests about safety protocols and procedures
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unsafe behaviors
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel
  
  

Qualifications

You are punctual and professional and would like to work at a great company.

• Must have Flaggers Certification
• Previous experience as a crossing guard or in a related safety role is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-traffic situations
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
• A commitment to promoting safety and a positive guest experience
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
