SUMMARY:
Works under minimal supervision to assist children and others to safely cross the street at assigned intersections during designated hours.

Student Safety
- Assiststudentsandparentsincrossingthestreetsafely.
- Reportanyareasofconcerntothecampusprincipal.
- Correctunsafeconditionsinworkareaandreportanyconditionsthatarenotcorrectabletosupervisor immediately.
- Utilizeeffectivecommunicationskills;ensurethatallinteractionsaresupportive,courteous,and respectful.
Policyand Law
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Comply with all policies, operating procedures, legal requirements, and verbal and written directives.
- Comply with the Professional Code of Ethics and Standard Practices forTexasEducators.
- Follow District safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma orequivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Experience working with children(preferred)
