Job summary

Clear Creek ISD seeks a Crossing Guard for Landolt Elementary in Friendswood, TX to provide safe crossing for students and support the district's mission. The role involves outdoor work daily, lifting up to 35 pounds, and wearing the safety vest and uniform while directing traffic.

As a CCISD employee, you will support student safety, manage traffic and large groups of children, and adhere to district policies. The position is part-time with a starting hourly wage of $17.39.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in crossing the street safely.

• Report any person loitering in the vicinity of or interfering with a guard/controller.
• Wear the uniform and safety vest at all times while on duty.
• Use stop sign at all times when stopping traffic or directing children.
• Perform the job with little or no supervision.
• Manage heavy traffic and pedestrians.
• Manage large groups of children.
