Job summary

Hankook Tire is seeking an Operations Team Member to help ensure continuous production, maintain quality, and collaborate with the Manufacturing Team. The role offers a range of scheduling options and requires training on a non-standard schedule before final shift assignment.

Successful candidates will undergo pre-employment screening and safety training. Flexibility, reliability, and teamwork are essential to support multiple production lines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Operate a machine to produce quality materials.
• Monitor and tend production machinery/equipment (e.g., automated assembly, material handling).
• Perform routine quality checks and inspections on materials and finished products.
• Observe 5S practices to improve workplace and reduce errors.
• Conduct basic preventive maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Manage base materials using FIFO method.
• Enter and locate data on a computer.
• Read and interpret specifications and measuring devices.
• Identify defective products and report nonconformities to supervisor.
• Prepare machines to start production, including calibration and cleaning.
• Adjust machine settings as needed.
• Supply raw materials to semi-automated machines.
• Check parts with measuring tools for accuracy.
• Conduct tests to verify machine operation regularly.
• Assist with setup and changeovers of production lines.
• Troubleshoot shift-related issues.
• Verify output for machine-related mistakes or defects.
• Create and maintain records of approved and defective units.
